EN-Men’s Circle and Coaching in the Hague

Men’s Group & Men’s Circle for Expats and Internationals

The Hague (English)
Connect, share, laugh, and grow together

Living abroad can be full of opportunities and still challenging at times. You might have a good job, a comfortable home, and many things to do, yet still feel something is missing. Many expats and internationals in The Hague and area feel successful on the outside, but disconnected, lonely, or stuck in their head on the inside.

Our English-speaking men’s group and men’s circle is a supportive community for international men living in The Hague, Voorburg, Leidschendam, Delft, Leiden, Rijswijk, and beyond (Rotterdam, Amsterdam). It’s a place to slow down, step out of your busy mind, and reconnect with your heart, body, and intuition.

We mix fun and laughter with depth and honesty. Every evening includes a well-grounded input, theme, or exercise that gives direction and meaning to the session. Sometimes we explore deeper questions. Sometimes we simply listen to each other with pure presence. And sometimes we respectfully challenge and inspire each other, always with respect.

This isn’t therapy, nothing is forced. It’s a space where you can show up as yourself and be met by other men doing the same. We support each other. We grow together. We move from head to heart.

Why join a men’s circle for expats and internationals?

Living and working abroad can be exciting, but also intense. You’re adapting to a new culture, maybe speaking a new language, and trying to make life work without your familiar support system. You want to take care of your partner or family, but who listens to you?

In our men’s group, you meet men who truly understand what it means to build a life far from home. You get honest support, new perspectives, and a sense of belonging. You also get a place to move out of your thinking mind and into your heart and inner compass.

You’ll discover you don’t have to do it all alone.

Do you recognise this?

Many expat and international men share similar experiences:

  • You miss deep, honest, supportive friendships with other men.
  • You live a lot in your head, rarely in your body or heart.
  • Work is demanding and it’s hard to really switch off.
  • You feel alone with your thoughts more often than you admit.
  • Your relationship feels under pressure since moving abroad.
  • You’re strong for others but forget what you really want.
  • You want to grow - but not by yourself.

If any of this sounds familiar, this international men’s circle may be exactly what you need.

What do we do in the men’s group?

Each evening has a clear structure and includes a well-grounded theme or piece of input from the facilitators. Something real, relatable, and connected to daily life. Topics often include:

  • Work stress
  • Relationships and intimacy
  • Fatherhood
  • Identity and purpose
  • Feeling lost abroad
  • Masculinity
  • Heart-based leadership
  • Living with clarity and integrity

It’s a well-balanced mix of depth, clarity, connection and fun.

The flow of the evening:

1. Arrive & land
We begin with simple body-based exercises to help you relax, feel grounded, and move from thinking to your heart and presence.
2. Theme & input
We introduce a topic or short teaching to inspire reflection and guide the evening.
3. Sharing circle
You can share your experience if you want to. No pressure. Just listening can already be powerful.
4. Reflection & support
We support, encourage, and occasionally challenge each other, always respectfully and with care.
5. Close together
We end with time for a drink, informal talk, and often laughter.

About Us

Ruben Zuilhof
I guide men’s circles, groups, and training days to help men feel strong, clear, and connected. Both to themselves and to others. I know how it feels to try carrying everything alone. You don’t have to. You’re welcome here, exactly as you are.

Max Bergauer
Since leaving Germany, I’ve lived in four countries and learned how important deep, loyal friendships are. Joining a men’s group helped me connect more with my authenticity, courage, and heart. Now I help create spaces where international men can grow together.

Together
Since 2025, we’ve combined our strengths:
Ruben brings grounded presence.
Max brings sensitivity and intuition.
Together we create a space that is safe, honest, warm and often full of laughter.

Our goal is simple:
A supportive, heart-centered community where international men grow together.
